Harmful Behaviors

In a relationship, it can be hard to tell what is healthy or unhealthy behavior depending on the situation. Sometimes people don’t realize a behavior  is unhealthy or harmful. Maybe they think their dating partner is doing this to help them. But harmful behavior doesn’t help a relationship or a dating partner. Harmful dating behaviors often indicate abuse or could be red flags to future abuse.

The lists below can help you figure if you’re experiencing harm in a dating relationship. Remember that these lists don’t include all possible harm!
